Why Strength Matters: Join Our Next Strength Cycle Starting 3/24
Our first Specialty Strength Cycle was a massive success! Over the past 11 weeks, we’ve seen athletes push their limits, hit new PRs, and build a solid foundation of strength. Whether you attended every session or just dropped in occasionally, you played a part in developing a stronger, more resilient version of yourself. Now, it’s time to build on that momentum.
On March 24th, we kick off our next Strength Cycle, running through early June. This is your opportunity to continue refining your technique, increasing your strength, and reinforcing the fundamentals that will serve you for life—both inside and outside the gym.
The Breakdown: What to Expect
This cycle is structured for progressive overload with a smart, effective approach to strength development. Each day has a dedicated focus to ensure well-rounded progress:
- Monday: Front Squat progression + hinge accessory work, inspired by Jeff Nippard’s evidence-based programming.
- Tuesday: Overhead Press cycle + back-building accessory work (yes, Jeff is back with another dialed-in strength plan).
- Friday: Glutes & Core—expect split squats galore, plus essential core work to reinforce stability and power.
The primary goal? Continue our squat development while reinforcing foundational movement patterns that translate to performance across all aspects of training.
Why Strength Training Should Be a Priority
Strength isn’t just about lifting heavy—it’s a key component of longevity, resilience, and overall health. Whether you’re training for sport, performance, or simply to stay strong for life, consistent strength work lays the groundwork for sustainable progress.
But with added volume comes added responsibility—recovery is just as important as the work you put in. To get the most out of this cycle, make sure to prioritize recovery strategies:
✔ Hit the Wellness Center for mobility work, stretching, or sauna sessions.
✔ Optimize nutrition & hydration to support muscle repair.
✔ Listen to your body—consistency over intensity wins every time.
No Need for Perfection—Just Show Up
One of the biggest misconceptions about strength cycles is that you have to attend every single session to see progress. Not true. Even if you can only make it to a few sessions here and there, dropping in will still grease the groove, reinforce movement patterns, and build a foundation for long-term strength.
So whether you’re ready to commit fully or just want to supplement your current routine, get in here and start building strength that lasts.
We start Monday, March 24th. See you in the gym.
